and Dad took an early walk from the hotel on Shelter Island to a great playground looking
out on the bay. Point Loma appears in the distance to the right. |

did a great job finding this hotel -- full kitchen, two rooms, great view of the bay, the
city, and the naval base. |
 We
stayed on the island this day as more and more people arrived for the fireworks.
